Vaporesso Swag 2 Kit Review - pros and cons and my thoughts

The Verdict
I must confess that this Vapresso Swag 2 Kit is a great device. Just like what I said in my last review, Vaporesso can always make something we want. Without exception, they did it this time. But, there's something that still annoys you.
What disappointed us the most is that it's a single 18650 battery device. I guess Vaporesso wants to label the Swag Series as a portable product. But if you insist on something and you'll lose something. Honestly, the capacity of a single 18650 battery features is fairly not enough. It could be better to make it into a single 20700/21700 battery device.
Despite it's a single 18650 battery device, the actual performance is still out of my expectations. Thanks to the AXON chip inside, I can still feel the strong hit with only 17% battery left. That GT4 mesh coil works perfectly with fully opened airflow at 70w output. If you prefer high concentrate nicotine liquid, you can switch to the 0.5ohm Ccell coil head and fine-tune the airflow to the minimum level. The performance could be better at 15w to 20w.

The Functionality
Actually, Vaporesso didn't make so many aggressive changes on the new Swag 2 Kit. On the contrary, they still kept the original charm of 'Swag Kit'. The same output range, the same intuitive fire button, the same 0.91" screen display, the same menu button, and the same adjustment button.
But the brand-new AXON chipset, which made its debut on Vaporesso Gen Mod, brings this Vaporesso Swag 2 Kit to a new level. The previous Swag Kit is equipped with Vaporesso patented OMNI chipset, although the substantial protections have been guaranteed, the actual operations are not that straightforward.
We've experienced the great features that AXON chip brings to us. Even the battery power is only more than 10%, it can still make the output stable and powerful. On the other hand, it also simplifies the operations. Press the menu button three times continuously to switch through different modes, like pulse mode, power ECO mode, smart TC mode, DIY mode, and system setting.

The Bonus
Without exception, both of the two companies start to making RBA coil head for their well-received devices. What's a coincidence is the structural concept of these two RBA coils are quite similar to each other.
(Note: You can use the RPM RBA coil on Smok RPM40 and Smok Fetch Mini. And the Vinci RBA coil is also compatible with all Vinci series devices.)
Due to the unique coil construction, it's impossible for you to prime the coils by firing or removing the hot spots. In other words, it will make the rebuild simpler and more straightforward.
Here is the process:
- Unscrew the top cap
- Install your coil
- Wick the coil
- Prime the cotton(unnecessary)
- Put the top cap back on
- Install the RBA in the pod cartridge
- Fill up the pod cartridge
Honestly, this kind of RBA coils is quite unique and strange. Nonetheless, it's still glad to see more and more types of RBA coming out on the market to provide more options for us consumers. Anyway, both of them are worth trying.
